Account Deletion

How to delete your Family OS account

You can request deletion of your Family OS account and all associated data at any time, whether or not you still have the app installed.

Email us a deletion request:

Send an email to hello@familyos.co.in from the email address associated with your Family OS account, with the subject line "Account Deletion Request." We will verify your identity and process your request.

What gets deleted

Once your deletion request is processed, the following data is permanently removed:

  • Your account profile (name, email, profile photo)
  • All family members you added, including their details and photos
  • All medicines and reminder schedules
  • All planner tasks and events
  • All emergency contacts
  • All photos, PDFs, and documents in your Family Gallery
  • Your Firebase Authentication account
This action is permanent. Once your account and data are deleted, they cannot be recovered.

Timeline

We process account deletion requests within 7 business days of verification. You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been fully deleted from our systems.

Partial deletion

If you'd prefer to delete specific information rather than your entire account — for example, a single family member, a photo, or a medicine entry — you can do this directly within the app at any time, without needing to delete your whole account.
